Alright, so yesterday I was messing around, trying to figure out who’d win between Ben Shelton and Bellucci. Felt like a fun little challenge, you know?

First thing I did was jump online and start digging for stats. I mean, you gotta know your players, right? Looked at their recent match history – wins, losses, who they played against, that sort of thing. Shelton’s been pretty hot lately, that much was obvious. Bellucci, not so much. But you can’t just go off recent form, gotta dig deeper.
Dug into their playing styles. Shelton’s got that big serve, super aggressive game. Bellucci, I noticed, is more of a grinder, likes to work the points, make his opponent move. That’s key info.
Then I checked out what the “experts” were saying. Looked at a bunch of different prediction sites, read some articles, watched a couple of YouTube breakdowns. Some were all-in on Shelton because of his power. Others thought Bellucci might have a chance if he could weather the storm and drag Shelton into long rallies. Opinions were split, which made it even more interesting.
I even tried to find some head-to-head data, but I think they’ve never played each other before, so that was a dead end. Bummer.
- Shelton’s Strengths: Big serve, aggressive forehand, overall power.
- Bellucci’s Strengths: Consistency, court coverage, ability to grind out points.
- Key Question: Could Bellucci handle Shelton’s power and force him into errors?
After soaking it all in, I made my own prediction. I figured Shelton’s power would be too much for Bellucci in the end. I imagined Shelton would come out firing, try to dictate the points early, and eventually wear Bellucci down.
Of course, actually watching the match is the only way to know for sure. But hey, it was a fun exercise in trying to analyze the game and make an informed guess.
My Prediction: Shelton in 3 sets.
We’ll see how right (or wrong!) I am!
