Okay, so the other day I got thinking about that Golden State Warriors team, you know, the one from the 2017-2018 season. Felt like ages ago, but I remember them being pretty dominant. Wanted to refresh my memory on who exactly was on that squad.

So, I just went over to my computer, popped open a browser. Nothing fancy. Went to my usual search engine, think it was Google, maybe DuckDuckGo, doesn’t really matter. Typed in something simple, probably like “golden state warriors roster 2017 2018”. Hit enter.
Got a bunch of results back, mostly sports sites. I think I clicked on the Basketball-Reference link first, usually pretty reliable for this stuff. Skimmed through the page.
Finding the Lineup
And there it was. Took like, 30 seconds. All the names started coming back to me.
- Obviously, you had Steph Curry.
- Kevin Durant was there, that was his second year I think.
- Klay Thompson, naturally.
- Draymond Green, doing his thing.
- Andre Iguodala, still key off the bench.
Then I saw some other guys I kinda remembered but weren’t front-of-mind. Shaun Livingston, yeah, solid backup guard. David West was still providing that veteran presence. Zaza Pachulia was around. JaVale McGee! Almost forgot about him being on that team.
There were younger guys too, like Jordan Bell, Patrick McCaw, Kevon Looney was starting to get his footing. Nick Young, Swaggy P, he was on that roster for a year, right. And Quinn Cook filled in quite a bit when Curry was injured.
It was interesting just seeing the full list laid out. You remember the big names, the stars, but seeing the whole group really paints the picture of that championship team. Took just a few minutes of poking around online to get the full rundown. Pretty straightforward stuff, really, just needed to look it up.
