My Grind with the Row Rally Thing in Monopoly Go
Alright, so the other day, I fired up Monopoly Go, just doin’ my usual thing, you know, collecting rent, trying to finish a board. Then I see this banner flashing – “Row Rally”. Another event. Okay, I thought, let’s see what this is all about.

Jumped in, and it looked like one of those leaderboard challenges. You land on certain tiles – I think it was the railroads for this one, maybe pickups too? – and you get points. More points, higher rank, better prizes. Standard stuff for these games, really.
So, I decided to give it a proper go. Had a decent stash of dice saved up, figured why not try and snag some top rewards? Maybe get that rare sticker pack or a pile of dice.
I started rolling. And rolling. And rolling some more. Trying to hit those railroads with a high multiplier active. You know how it is. Sometimes you get lucky, land right on it, bam! Loads of points. Other times, you just dance around it, landing everywhere but where you need to. Super frustrating.
- Spent way more dice than I planned.
- Kept checking the leaderboard, seeing people jump way ahead.
- Felt that pressure to keep playing, keep rolling.
Honestly, it felt like a real grind. You’re basically just tapping that roll button, hoping the game’s random number gods smile on you. I was glued to the phone for longer than I care to admit, chasing those points.
Did I make it to the top? Nah, not even close. The folks up there must’ve been spending serious dice, maybe even real cash, I dunno. I managed to get into a decent prize tier, got some dice back and a bit of cash, maybe a sticker pack. Nothing amazing, though.
Looking back, it was kind of intense for a bit there. These events really pull you in, make you want to compete. But man, they can drain your dice fast if you’re not careful. Was it worth the effort? Maybe? Got some stuff, but mostly it just reminded me how these games are designed to keep you hooked and rolling. Probably won’t go quite as hard on the next one, gotta save those dice for building landmarks!
