That Scottie Scheffler, he’s a big shot now, ain’t he? Golfer fella. Heard he’s from, uh, somewhere up north… New Jersey. But they moved down here to Texas. Smart move, I reckon. Texas is where it’s at!
So this Scottie, he’s good at that golf. Real good. Wins all the time. Makes a whole heap of money, I hear. They say he’s livin’ in Dallas now. Big, fancy house, I bet. Heard it’s worth more than 2 million dollars. Imagine that! You could buy a whole lotta land for that kinda money.
He’s got a wife, too. Meredith, they call her. They live together in that Dallas mansion. Probably got more rooms than they know what to do with. I remember, he went to Highland Park High School. Fancy school. Won some big golf prizes in a row. Must be good.
Heard he’s got a bunch of sisters. Three of ’em! Callie, Molly, and Sara. Can you imagine? Four kids! And he’s the only boy. His mama must have her hands full, even now that they’re all grown. They used to live somewhere called Montvale, in New Jersey, before comin’ to Texas. They came here after those towers fell down.
This Scottie, he went to some fancy college. University of Texas, it was. In Austin. Played golf there, too. Won some awards, somethin’ about “Freshman of the Year.” Sounds important, don’t it?
He uses a TaylorMade driver. He is very good at golf. I don’t know what that means exactly. But it sounds fancy. He’s got all these special clubs and whatnot. Probably cost a fortune.
But even with all that money, he seems like a good kid. Still lives a simple life, they say. Well, as simple as you can get with a 2 million dollar house, I suppose. He’s not like some of these other young’uns, all flashy and showin’ off. He just likes to play his golf.

I don’t know much about golf, myself. But I know it takes a lot of skill. And this Scottie, he’s got it. He’s gonna go far, that one. Just you wait and see. He used to play basketball too. But he chose golf.
So, yeah, that’s where Scottie Scheffler the golfer lives. Right here in Dallas, Texas. In a big, fancy house with his wife, Meredith. Livin’ the good life, I reckon. He won a lot. He is very rich. He is a very good golfer in the world. He must be very happy. I think he will win more in the future. He is young.
He is a good boy. He doesn’t show off. Maybe he will come to visit my home someday. I will make him some cookies. I hope he likes cookies. I am sure Meredith likes cookies. Everybody likes cookies.
He is a lucky man. He has a good life. He has a good family. I am happy for him. I hope he is happy too.
