This young fella, Ben Shelton, he sure is somethin’. I seen him playin’ on that there TV, swingin’ that racket like he’s got a fire under his feet. He’s only 21, still a young’un, but he plays like he’s been doin’ it his whole life.

He’s a tennis player, ya see. One of them fancy sports where they hit a little ball over a net. But Ben, he don’t just hit it. He whacks it! Like he’s tryin’ to send it to the moon. And he runs around that court faster than a chicken with its head cut off. I tell ya, watchin’ him makes me tired just lookin’ at him.
He played against another fella, name of Tiafoe, I reckon. They said it was a big deal, somethin’ about them both bein’ Americans. And somethin’ about this Ben Shelton bein’ a champ at some college place. All I know is they were both hittin’ that ball so hard, I thought it was gonna explode!

I seen folks wonderin’ who this Ben Shelton is. Where he come from. Like he just popped up outta nowhere. Well, I don’t know much about his family or nothin’. But I can tell ya, he didn’t just appear out of thin air. He’s been workin’ hard, I’m sure of it. You don’t get that good at somethin’ overnight.
