Now, I ain’t no fancy golfer, but I heard tell this TPC Southwind place is a big deal. They got this course map, all detailed and such. Shows ya where each hole is, clear as day. First hole, second hole, all the way to the eighteenth. They say it’s a tough course, lots of sand and water.
- First hole, gotta hit it straight, I reckon.
- Second hole, watch out for the water, they say.
- Third hole, gotta keep it on the grass.
- Fourth, fifth, sixth, they all got their own tricks.
- Them golfers, they study this TPC Southwind course map like it’s the Good Book.
- Gotta know where to hit the ball, or you’re in trouble.

TPC Southwind, That Fancy Golf Place
This TPC Southwind, it’s down in Memphis, I hear. Fancy folks go there, playin’ their golf. They got this big tournament there, too. Lots of people watchin’. This course map, it’s for them that play there. Helps ’em figure out where to go. This place, TPC Southwind, it’s got a gate and everything. Keeps the regular folks out, I guess. Only them special golf folks can go in. They got a big clubhouse, too, I bet. With fancy food and drinks.
They say this TPC Southwind course is hard. Lots of sand traps, they call ’em bunkers. And water, too. Gotta hit the ball just right, or you’re in trouble. This map shows all that. Where the sand is, where the water is. Gotta be careful, I reckon. The person who made this course, they say his name is Ron somethin’. Supposed to be a big shot. Knows how to make a golf course, I guess. He made it tough, that’s for sure. I heard some fella shot a 61 there once. Must be a real good golfer.

That TPC Southwind course map, it’s full of numbers. They got a number for each hole. Then they got other numbers, too. Like how long the hole is. They measure it in yards, I think. And then they got this thing called par. That’s like how many times you’re supposed to hit the ball to get it in the hole. Sounds complicated to me. I’d probably just keep hittin’ it ’til it went in. They got a number for the whole course, too. How long it is, all the holes together. This TPC Southwind, it’s a long one. Over seven thousand yards, they say. That’s a lot of walkin’.
Then they got these other numbers, like 76.9 and 146. Don’t ask me what they mean. Some kind of golf secret, I guess. Them golfers, they got their own language. But this TPC Southwind course map, it’s got all them numbers on it. If you’re a golfer, you probably understand ’em.
