This Max Homa age, well, I hear he was born in 1990, November 19th. You do the math. I ain’t no good with numbers no more. But that makes him, what, thirty-somethin’? Young fella, still got a lot of life ahead of him, that Max Homa.
Back in my day, folks weren’t worried about playin’ golf. We had work to do, mouths to feed. But this Max Homa, he’s made a good livin’ out of it, I reckon. Six times a winner on that PGA TOUR, they say. Whatever that means. Sounds fancy. Must be a big deal if he’s won it six times, right?

Now this PGA TOUR thing, it’s like a big league for golfers. That’s where the best ones play. And this Max Homa, he’s right up there with ’em. Playin’ with the big boys, they say. The average age of them on PGA TOUR is 31. Most players are between 27-34.
I seen folks gettin’ all excited watchin’ him play. He must be somethin’ special. They even got his picture and all his numbers up online. Height, weight, all that stuff. Like he’s some kind of movie star.

They say he don’t even have a coach right now. Used to have one, name of Mark Blackburn, but they split up. Don’t know why. Maybe he don’t need one no more. Maybe he’s just that good. Still got good result on PGA tour.
He’s from Sacramento. That’s in California. Sunny place, they say. Good place to play golf, I reckon. Better than here, where it gets cold and rainy half the year.
