Okay, so I’ve been hooked on this game called Monopoly Go lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started playing it a couple of weeks ago, just casually at first. You know, rolling the dice, buying properties, the usual Monopoly stuff. But then I discovered this thing called “space” in the game, and it totally changed the way I play.
At first, I was just going around the board, landing on whatever properties I could. I wasn’t really paying attention to the whole space thing. I mean, I saw it there, but I didn’t think much of it. But then I started noticing that some players were raking in tons of cash, and I was like, “What’s their secret?”
So I did what any normal person would do – I started asking around. I hit up some friends who were also playing the game, and they told me about this “space strategy.” Apparently, you gotta focus on those spaces to really make the big bucks. I was skeptical at first, but I figured I’d give it a shot.
The first thing I did was try to claim those free gifts in the shop. They said it resets every 8 hours, so I set an alarm on my phone to remind me. It was a bit of a hassle at first, but then it became part of my daily routine. Like brushing my teeth, but for a game, haha.
- Next, I started joining these events and tournaments. They’re like mini-games within the game, and they’re a great way to earn extra cash and rewards. I wasn’t very good at first. Honestly, I was pretty terrible. But I kept at it, and eventually, I started winning a few here and there.
- There are some landmarks in the game, it’s like the places on the board, but different, you know? I tried to make my way through all of them, it’s like a little adventure or something.
- Then there’s this thing about building houses. The more houses you have, the more money you make. It sounds simple, but it’s actually pretty strategic. You gotta figure out which properties to build on and when. I’m still figuring that part out, to be honest.
Buying Strategy
And let’s talk about buying properties. I used to be all about saving my money, waiting for the perfect moment to buy something big. But then I realized that’s not the way to go in this game. You gotta buy, buy, buy, especially early on. That way, you’re blocking other players from getting those properties, and they have to pay you rent when they land on them. It’s a bit cutthroat, but hey, it’s Monopoly.
There is one thing that really changed how I play is to save my first play of the day for some bonuses, and I also asked a few friends to play together. It made it way more fun.
I also heard about this “Airplane Mode Glitch” thing. People were saying you could turn on airplane mode, roll the dice, see what you get, and then turn it off if you didn’t like the result. I tried it a few times, I’m not gonna lie. It felt a bit like cheating, but it was kind of tempting. I don’t do it anymore, though. It just didn’t feel right, you know?
So yeah, that’s my Monopoly Go space journey so far. I’m still learning, still figuring things out. But it’s been a lot of fun, and I’m definitely making more money in the game now than I was before. If you’re playing Monopoly Go, give the space strategy a try. It might just change the game for you, too.
