Okay, so, I watched this baseball game the other day, and man, it was something else. It was Southern Indiana playing against St. Thomas. I got really into it, you know?
I decided to record the whole thing from the start. Grabbed my phone, hit that record button, and I was all set. The game kicked off, and things were pretty normal at first. Both teams were doing their thing, scoring a few points here and there.
- Southern Indiana was holding their own. They got a few runs in.
- St. Thomas wasn’t far behind. They narrowed the gap in the top of the third, making it 2-1. It was getting tense.
So, I’m there, capturing every moment, feeling like a real sports journalist or something. Then, in the bottom of the first, this guy from Southern Indiana, Thomp-Allen, he singles to shortstop, and then he steals second. I’m thinking, “This is getting good!” The score was 2-0 with Southern Indiana leading.
As I kept recording, the game got more intense. Southern Indiana was up 8-5 after eight innings. It was wild! I was so caught up in the action, I almost forgot I was recording.
Then, this crazy thing happened. There was this massive collision on the field. I don’t know the exact details, but it was between a Southern Indiana batter and someone from St. Thomas. It looked rough. The St. Thomas pitcher went to check on the Southern Indiana guy who was lying face down. I made sure to get that on camera too. It was part of the game, after all.
By the end, the final score was like 8-6, with Southern Indiana winning. But man, that collision, that was the highlight for me. I watched it over and over on my recording.
After the game, I packed up my stuff, feeling pretty good about my amateur recording skills. I decided to upload my video and share it with some buddies online. I even added a little commentary, talking about the game highlights and, of course, that insane collision.
It was a good day. I got to watch some good baseball, and I felt like I captured a really unique moment. I can’t wait to do it again sometime.
