I wanted to share my recent adventure trying to get tickets for the Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo fight. This was a big one, and I knew tickets would be in high demand, so I started preparing early.

Besides looking for tickets, I also checked out how I could watch the fight live if I couldn’t get there in person. It turned out that Prime Video was going to stream it, which was cool. Then I stumbled upon some info about DAZN. Apparently, they offer tons of live fights every year, plus replays and documentaries. It got me thinking about subscribing, especially since they were going to have the Canelo Alvarez vs. Edgar Berlanga fight too, which is another one I didn’t want to miss. That fight was scheduled for September 14th, and you had to pay a PPV fee on top of the DAZN subscription, which was about $29.99 a month.
Back to the ticket hunt, I found out that generally, Canelo Alvarez ticket prices start around $70 and can go up to a whopping $4000. It really depends on a lot of factors, like where you sit and how big the venue is. After digging around a bit more, I realized that getting tickets for this fight was going to be a bit of a challenge, but it was definitely worth it to see Canelo in action.
In the end, I managed to snag some tickets. It took a bit of patience and a lot of refreshing on those ticketing sites, but I did it! Can’t wait for the fight night. It’s going to be epic!
