Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole “Marigold Summer Destiny 2024” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I heard some chatter online about it being free, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, who doesn’t love free stuff, right?
First things first, I did a bit of digging. Turns out, this event was held at some place called the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo on July 13th. Sounds fancy, huh? I found out that it was streamed on something called Wrestle Universe, also on July 13th. I’m not a huge wrestling buff, but I figured I could check it out. They had these matches like Rea Seto versus Komomo Minami, and a tag team match with Chika Goto and Kouki Amarei versus Kizuna Tanaka and some other folks.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. I stumbled upon some ratings from a guy named Dave Meltzer, apparently, he’s a big deal in the wrestling world. I’m not gonna pretend I understood all the details, but it seemed like people were pretty hyped about it.
I also tried to find out where to watch this thing. I checked all the usual spots – Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, you name it. No luck. It seems like you had to catch it live on that Wrestle Universe thing, or you were out of luck. Bummer.
But then I saw something about “dream matches” – Giulia versus Sareee and Utami Hayashishita versus IYO SKY. I don’t know who these people are, but it sounds epic! There was also talk about crowning new champions. It seems like it was a pretty big deal for wrestling fans.
Getting into the Game
Aside from the wrestling stuff, I also heard some whispers about a game. Something about exploring patrol zones and doing lost sectors and patrols. Now, I’m more of a gamer than a wrestling fan, so this piqued my interest. I found out that you can do all this without needing any extra DLCs, which is great for a cheapskate like me.
They talked about these “light subclasses” – Arc, Void, and Solar. I decided to try them all out. I messed around with a Void Warlock and an Arc Hunter. They have this cool “blink” ability for jumping. It felt pretty awesome, I’m not gonna lie.
The Grind Begins
After playing for a while, I hit something called a “softcap.” I learned that I needed to check my Destination screen for these gold “coins” on the map. They’re for these Powerful and Pinnacle quests. So, I started grinding those out, trying to get better gear and level up. It’s been a bit of a time sink, but it’s satisfying to see my character get stronger. The only thing that left me with is to find out whether I will be able to complete my Marigold Summer Destiny 2024 free mission on time!
Honestly, this whole Marigold Summer Destiny 2024 experience has been a mix of wrestling, gaming, and a whole lot of exploring. I’m still not sure what to make of it all, but it’s been fun figuring it out. Who knew a free event could lead to so much stuff?
