Alright, so I wanted to figure out how much those “Shark Tank” people are worth. You know, that show where people pitch their business ideas? I started digging around, and here’s what I found.
The Sharks
- Mark Cuban – This guy’s the big fish, literally. Turns out he’s worth like 4.5 billion dollars! He owns that basketball team, the Dallas Mavericks, and has a bunch of other stuff going on.
- Kevin O’Leary – This dude, back in the 80s, started a company called Softkey. He ended up selling it for over 4 billion dollars in ’99. Not bad, huh?
Some Cool “Shark Tank” Stories
There was this one company, “Ring” I think it was called. They went on the show, and the Sharks didn’t really bite. But guess what? Amazon later bought them for almost a billion dollars! Crazy, right?
I just started looking into this stuff, so there’s probably a lot more to learn. But it’s pretty cool to see how these “Shark Tank” folks have done. It seems like some of them made a ton of money even before the show, and others have made some smart deals because of it.
I’ll keep digging around and see what else I can find. It’s a bit of a mess, but it’s interesting!
