Okay, so I’ve been diving into this “Genshin Impact” thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride. Today, I want to talk about Fontaine, the newest area they just added. It’s supposed to be this grand, water-themed nation, and I was super hyped to finally get to explore it.
First off, I had to make sure I was up-to-date with the game. I heard that Fontaine was coming in version 4.0, which, apparently, dropped on August 16th. I logged in and, sure enough, there was an update waiting for me. Downloaded that, which took a little while, but hey, that’s expected with these big updates.
Then, I jumped into the game and started following the main story quests, or “Archon Quests” as they call them. You know, the usual routine, trying to figure out the main storyline and how to reach Fontaine. It took me a few days, playing on and off, to get through the quests that were leading up to Fontaine. Finally, the moment came when I unlocked the path to this new area.
I was eager to see those new characters, especially Lyney and Lynette. They were teased way back in some preview video, and I was like, “Yeah, I gotta meet these guys.” I played through the initial Fontaine quests, and bam, there they were. Pretty cool, I gotta say.
Exploring Fontaine itself was a whole other thing. Underwater exploration? Sign me up! I spent hours just swimming around, checking out the scenery, and finding hidden treasures. It’s not every day you get to explore a whole new world underwater in a game.
But it wasn’t just about swimming. I heard rumors about new characters coming in later updates, like version 5.2. Apparently, there are these two, Chasca and Ororon. Chasca, a 5-star Anemo user with a bow, who can hover? Sounds awesome. And Ororon, a 4-star Electro bow user. I’m already thinking about how to get my hands on them.
I also noticed that this update wasn’t just about Fontaine. They improved a bunch of other stuff in the game, fixed some bugs, you know, the usual. But I was too busy exploring Fontaine to really care about the minor details.
Some Random Thoughts
- Lyney and Lynette: Met them early on, they’re pretty interesting.
- Underwater Exploration: Super cool, spent a lot of time just swimming around.
- Chasca and Ororon: Future characters, gotta keep an eye out for them.
- Version 4.0: It was a huge update, but Fontaine is the real deal.
So, yeah, that’s been my journey to Fontaine in “Genshin Impact.” It’s been a blast, and I’m still not done exploring. There’s so much to see and do. If you’re a “Genshin” player and haven’t checked out Fontaine yet, you’re missing out. And if you’re new to the game, well, now’s a pretty good time to jump in!
