Okay, so I’ve been trying to catch this game, the LSU Tigers versus the Ole Miss Rebels, in women’s college basketball. It’s been a bit of a hassle, to be honest. I started by checking out a few different places where I thought I could find the score.
First thing I did, I hit up ESPN. Their site usually has live coverage, and sure enough, they had a page for the game. But you know how it is with live sports, the score can change any second. So, I was refreshing the page like crazy, trying to keep up with what was happening on the court.
- Went to ESPN’s website.
- Searched for the LSU vs. Ole Miss game.
- Found the live score page.
- Constantly refreshed the page to get the latest score.
Here’s what I did:
Then, I thought, maybe there are some other sites that have more detailed info. I wanted to know about the stats, like who was scoring the most points and which team was dominating. So I searched for more sites that had game stats.
I found this one site that had all the nitty-gritty details—box scores, player stats, even play-by-play commentary. It was pretty cool to see how the game was unfolding, almost like I was watching it live. I learned that Angel from Ole Miss was on fire, scoring 21 points, which was apparently her seventh game this season with 20 or more points. Go, Angel!
I also stumbled upon some info about how to watch the game on TV. I’m guessing this was for a future game, but it said the game would be on ABC. And they had these announcers, Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy, with Molly McGrath reporting from the sidelines. If I wanted to stream it, there was something called FUBO that had a free trial.
Lastly, I found some stats about the teams’ chances of winning. According to the moneyline, Ole Miss had a 63.1% chance of winning, while LSU had a 41.3% chance. And it looked like Ole Miss was doing pretty well against the spread this season. It sounds like I have to find another way to get the latest score.
It was a bit of a wild goose chase, but I finally got the score and some extra info about the game. It’s always fun to dig into these games and see what’s going on, even if it takes a bit of effort to find all the details.
