Okay, here’s my sharing about the “Scrap Yard Riches” event in Monopoly Go, based on my own experience.
Alright, let’s talk about this Scrap Yard Riches event in Monopoly Go. I’ve been playing it for a bit, and I wanted to share my experience and what I’ve learned so far.
So, first off, this event is all about landing on those corner tiles. You know, the ones like “Go,” “Jail,” “Free Parking,” and “Go to Jail.” Every time I hit one of those, I got some points. The more I landed on them, the more points I racked up. It’s kind of a neat way to keep things interesting, right? Because you’re not just trying to buy properties or whatever, you’re also aiming for these corners.
Getting Points and Milestones
As I earned points, I started unlocking these things called “milestones.” There are apparently 49 of them in total, but I haven’t gotten all of them yet. The more milestones I hit, the more rewards I got. I think the last milestone gives you, like, 13 something. It’s pretty cool. It’s like, the more you play, the more stuff you get. It kept me hooked, I won’t lie.

Speeding Up the Game
Now, I’m not the most patient person, so I tried a couple of things to speed up the game. One thing I did was give myself and everyone else more starting cash. It’s kind of fun starting with more money because you can buy stuff faster. Also I tried setting a limit on the number of rounds we played. That way, we knew when the game would end, and we could just see who had the most money and properties by then. It made things a bit quicker, which I liked.
Playing Consistently
I also noticed that the more I played, the more extra stuff I seemed to get. There are these daily tasks you can do to get cash prizes, and they also count toward weekly “quick wins,” which can give you even more. Plus, you get a reward from the store every eight hours. I mean, it’s not a ton, but it adds up. So, playing regularly definitely has its perks. It’s like they’re rewarding you for just showing up, which is pretty nice.
Overall, I’m enjoying the Scrap Yard Riches event. It’s a fun way to get more involved in the game and earn some extra rewards. I like that it makes you think a bit differently about how you play, and it’s definitely kept me coming back for more. If you haven’t tried it yet, I’d say give it a go. You might be surprised at how much you like it!
