So I’ve been messing around with this “pyro raiden” team comp in Genshin, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride.
First off, I gotta say, I’m no pro gamer or anything, but I do love experimenting with different team setups. I’ve played a bunch of different teams before and I’ve always loved trying to create new combos and synergies with the different characters.
When I first heard about this comp, I was like, “Pyro Raiden? What’s that about?” So I did a bit of digging. Turns out, it’s a variation of that “Raiden National” team everyone’s been talking about. Basically, you got Raiden Shogun as the main damage dealer, Xiangling throwing out her Pyronado for off-field damage, Xingqiu with his rain swords for some extra hydro action, and Bennett being the best support ever, healing and buffing the team.
I spent hours trying to get all the characters leveled up and their talents sorted. That took a while, I had to grind a lot. Then there was the whole artifact thing. Oh boy, I tried to follow those online guides, saying stuff like “Emblem of Severed Fate” is the way to go for Raiden. And I was hunting for those artifacts with stats like Crit damage, Crit rate, Energy Recharge, and Attack%. It felt like I was spending more time in those artifact domains than anywhere else in the game!
Once I finally got everyone somewhat geared up, it was time to test this thing out. My first few runs in the Spiral Abyss were rough, I won’t lie. My rotations were all over the place, and I kept messing up the order of the skills and everything. And don’t even get me started on the energy management! Let me tell you, keeping everyone’s bursts up is a real challenge.
But you know what? After a few days of practice and a whole lot of retries, I started to get the hang of it. I figured out the best order to use everyone’s skills, like using Bennett’s burst first to buff everyone, then quickly switching to Xiangling to drop her Pyronado, followed by Xingqiu’s rain swords, and finally, unleashing Raiden’s burst for that massive electro damage. It was like conducting an orchestra of destruction, and it felt awesome when I finally pulled it off.
When everything works out, the enemies just melt. I was seeing bigger numbers than I’d ever seen before, and clearing floors in the Abyss faster than I used to. Of course, it’s not perfect, but I feel like I’ve come a long way since those first few disastrous attempts. It’s not an easy team comp to play. You’ve got to pay attention to a lot of things at once, like energy, cooldowns, and enemy attacks. But when you get it right, it’s so satisfying.
So yeah, that’s my experience with the pyro Raiden team so far. I’m still learning, and I’m sure there’s still room for improvement, but I’m having a blast with it. It’s been a fun and rewarding experience, and I’m excited to see how much further I can push this team. Maybe I’ll even try to tackle the harder content with it someday. Who knows?
