Okay, so, let’s talk about how I finally got traded in Road to the Show. It was a grind, let me tell you.
At first, I was stuck on this team that I just didn’t vibe with. I wanted out, but I had no clue how. I started by trying to do everything right. I leveled up my player, you know, just played a ton of games, worked on my stats, and tried to be the best player I could be. I was hoping that would make other teams notice me.
I also found this setting called “Trade Frequency” and cranked that thing all the way up. I figured, the more trades happening in the league, the better my chances, right?
Then, I remembered something about my agent. I waited for him to call, which felt like it took forever. I think I played a whole season and then some before he finally called me. I seized the opportunity and told him straight up I wanted a trade. But guess what? He basically told me I was stuck because I didn’t have enough “leverage.” I guess my stats weren’t quite high enough yet. It was super frustrating, but what can you do?
- Wait for the agent to call (happens rarely).
- Express the desire for a trade.
- Hear from the agent about the outcome.
So I went back to the grind. More games, more training, just trying to boost those stats. I even tried being a bit of a pain to the manager, hoping they’d want to get rid of me. Don’t know if that actually helped, but it made me feel a little better, haha.
Finally, after what felt like ages, my agent called again. This time, things were different. He said other teams were interested! My stats were finally high enough, and I guess my performance on the field was speaking for itself. I was so hyped!
My trade at last!
He gave me a few options, and I carefully considered each one. Ultimately, I picked the team that I thought would be the best fit for me. And just like that, I was traded!
It was a long and sometimes frustrating process, but I finally made it. It taught me that in Road to the Show, patience and persistence are key. You gotta put in the work, improve your player, and eventually, the opportunities will come.
So yeah, that’s my story of how I got traded. It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely worth it in the end. I landed on a team that I love, and I’m finally playing where I want to play. What a journey!
