Man, let me tell you, getting ready for WWE in North Carolina this year, 2024, has been a wild ride. First thing I did was check out the schedule. I looked up all the different events they had lined up, like Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, and even NXT 2.0. It’s crazy how many shows they put on!
So, after I got a handle on the dates, I started looking at the venues. This year, they’re hitting up places like the Spectrum Center in Charlotte and the Greensboro Coliseum. I heard the Spectrum Center is a pretty big deal, especially for the February shows. And it looks like they’re doing something big in Greensboro in May, too.
Next, I had to figure out the tickets. Let me tell you, those things can go fast. I checked a few different ticket sites to see what was available for Raw in Raleigh in March. It’s always a gamble trying to snag good seats without breaking the bank. Then there’s that Friday Night SmackDown in Charlotte in February, and I heard the buzz around that one is insane.
- Looked up the schedule for Raw, SmackDown, NXT 2.0.
- Checked out venues like Spectrum Center and Greensboro Coliseum.
- Searched for tickets for Raw in Raleigh and SmackDown in Charlotte.
- Tried to find a way to watch the shows.
- Read about the history of WWE and their big events.
Watching the Shows
Now, figuring out how to watch these events is a whole other story. I know SmackDown airs on USA Network on Fridays, but I don’t have cable. I heard there might be some streaming options, so I started digging into that. Plus, they do those big pay-per-view events like Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. I read that the Royal Rumble this year is actually in February, not January, which is kind of interesting. It’s all going down in Indianapolis, and you can bet I’ll be trying to catch that one somehow.
Learning About WWE
While I was at it, I got a little curious about WWE itself. Turns out, it’s owned by this group called TKO, which is under Endeavor. It’s all pretty corporate, but it’s cool to see how big this whole wrestling thing has gotten. They’ve been doing those big four events since the ’80s, which is way before my time, but it’s awesome to see how they’ve kept it going.
So yeah, that’s my journey getting ready for WWE in North Carolina this year. It’s been a mix of excitement, a bit of stress trying to get tickets, and a whole lot of learning. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out!
