Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about this little adventure I had trying to take a photo of those ruin murals. It’s not as easy as it sounds, you know? Let me tell you the whole story.
First off, I had to unlock this quest called “The Saga of Mr. Forgetful.” Apparently, you can only do that after finishing another quest called “Octave of the Maushiro.” And get this, you gotta wait for the server to reset after you complete that one. Talk about a waiting game! I was just eager to get to the photo-taking part, but I had to get all this other stuff done first.
So, after all that was sorted, I finally made my way to the Tsurumi Underground Ruins. This place is on Tsurumi Island, and it connects Shirikoro Peak and Chirai Shrine. I started at Shirikoro Peak, at the bottom of the mountain under the Perch. It’s kind of a maze down there, but eventually, I found the murals.
Now, about the photos. I learned a neat trick about using a wide-angle lens. It lets you capture so much more in one shot. I don’t have one of those fancy DSLR cameras, but my friend told me you can rent lenses at camera stores. I’m not quite ready to buy one myself, but maybe I’ll look into renting one next time. Anyway, a wide-angle lens would have been super helpful so I did not have to move my feet and walk like crazy.
Here’s how I ended up doing it:
- Found the murals: Like I said, it took some exploring, but I got there. They’re massive, by the way.
- Tried different angles: I walked around, squatted, even stood on a few rocks to try and get the whole thing in the frame.
- Took a bunch of photos: I mean, a lot. My phone’s probably filled with pictures of those ruins now.
- Picked the best one: It wasn’t perfect, but it captured most of the mural. I was pretty happy with it.
So yeah, that was my little adventure. It was fun, even though it was a bit of a hassle at first. Getting that perfect photo of the ruin murals took some time and effort, but it was worth it. Maybe next time I’ll be better prepared with that wide-angle lens. If you’re planning on doing this, hopefully, my experience can give you a little heads-up!
