Okay, so, let’s talk about this Eric Ramirez guy in Texas. I kept seeing this name pop up in different places, and I got curious. Who is this guy? What does he do? You know how it is, the internet is a deep well, and sometimes you just gotta dive in.

One was a staff engineer, worked for the Texas Department of Transportation. He went to school in El Paso. Looked like a solid career, you know, building roads and bridges and stuff. 170 some connections, he must be doing something right.
Found Another One
Another LinkedIn profile, this Eric Ramirez was in Weslaco, Texas. I don’t know much about Weslaco, to be honest. This guy had a couple of jobs on his profile. Not as much info as the transportation guy, but still, it’s another piece of the puzzle. Also, one Eric is a student at Sam Houston State University and had interned with Insight Global before, he is from Houston.
Facebook Time
Of course, I had to check Facebook too. Found a bunch of people with that name. It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack, except the haystack is made of people named Eric Ramirez. I tried to connect a few dots, see if any of these Facebook people matched the LinkedIn ones, but it’s hard to say for sure. People use all kinds of different names and pictures online, you know?
The Address Hunt
There were also these websites that give you people’s addresses and phone numbers. I saw a few of those for different Eric Ramirezes in Texas. I didn’t really do anything with that info, felt a little too creepy, even for me. One of them was living at 77089. I don’t know that much of it. I should make a visit.
So, What Did I Learn?
Honestly, not a whole lot. There are a lot of Eric Ramirezes in Texas. Some are professors, some are engineers, some are just regular folks living their lives. It was an interesting little internet adventure, but I’m not sure I’m any closer to figuring out who “the” Eric Ramirez is, if there even is one. Maybe it’s just a common name, and I got myself all worked up over nothing. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. And, maybe I’ll keep digging. You never know what you’ll find on the internet.
