Okay, so I was chilling at home, just scrolling through my phone, and I saw this headline pop up: “Did Jey Uso Go to AEW?” Man, I’m a huge wrestling fan, so this immediately caught my attention. I was like, “No way, Jey in AEW? That’s crazy!”
I had to find out more. So, I started digging.
Started with Google
First thing I did was hit up Google. I typed in “Jey Uso AEW” and started browsing through the search results. There were a bunch of articles and forum posts, but nothing concrete. Some people were saying it was just a rumor, others were speculating that he might show up at their next big event. It was all pretty vague, but it definitely got me even more curious. I mean, the guy had just left WWE recently, and it would be a major move to just immediately jump into another promotion like that.
Went to Twitter Next
After Google, I went straight to Twitter. That’s where all the breaking news usually happens, right? I searched for Jey Uso’s name and the hashtag #AEW. There was a ton of buzz, but still nothing definitive. Fans were going wild with theories, but there was no official statement from Jey or AEW. I kept refreshing my feed, hoping for some kind of update. The suspense was really killing me at this point. We’re talking about a guy who has main evented multiple major pay per views over the past couple of years. He’s a big deal, and this would be major news if true.
Checked Out Wrestling News Sites
Next, I went to some of my go-to wrestling news sites. I figured they would have the inside scoop. I checked out some of these, but they were mostly just reporting on the rumors too. There were a few articles with quotes from “insiders,” but nothing that I could really trust. It felt like everyone was just as in the dark as I was. All we had were a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors and wild speculation by the fans. I knew I had to take everything with a grain of salt, and not put too much stock in what I was seeing just yet. This is the world of pro wrestling after all. You never know what to believe until it actually happens.
Finally Found a Clue
Just when I was about to give up, I stumbled upon something interesting. I found a post that mentioned that Jey had been spotted at the airport. Someone claimed to have seen him boarding a flight, and it looked like he was heading to a city where AEW was holding a show. Now, this was something! It wasn’t confirmation, but it was a solid lead. I thought to myself, “Could this be it? Is he really going to AEW?” I was beyond hyped at this point. Still, I knew that this wasn’t enough to go on. I needed more.
Went to His Social Media
After that, I went to Jey’s official social media pages. I checked his Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Usually, wrestlers drop hints or post cryptic messages when they’re about to make a big move. But there was nothing. His pages were quiet, which was unusual. It felt like he was either intentionally staying silent or just taking a break from social media. Or maybe, just maybe, he was trying to keep things under wraps to make a surprise appearance. I felt that this was most likely, but I knew that I couldn’t be sure. I didn’t want to get ahead of myself and set myself up for disappointment.
The Waiting Game
So, here I am, still waiting for some kind of confirmation. It’s been a wild ride, going from seeing that initial headline to digging through all these rumors and reports. I’m still not sure if Jey Uso is actually going to AEW, but the possibility has me super excited. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens next. Wrestling is full of surprises, and this could be one of the biggest ones in a while. I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes glued to the screen, that’s for sure.
I’ll make sure to keep you guys updated if I find anything else. For now, we just gotta wait and see.
