Okay, so I saw this “lime green Ja Morant” thing trending and, like, I had to try it out. I’m not a huge basketball person, but the color combo looked so wild, I figured, why not?

First, I googled a bunch of images. You know, just to get a feel for the vibe. It’s a lot of bright green, obviously, with some black and white mixed in. Think, like, a really loud, almost neon green.
Digging Deeper
Then I got to thinking where I should apply it, and the thing come to my mind first is, my old sneakers! I have an old, plain white one that are kinda boring. I got a basic idea of how to do it and the materials I need.
The Process: Messy but Fun!
- Step 1: Found some acrylic paints. I Got the brightest, most obnoxious lime green I could find, plus some black and white for accents.
- Step 2: Clean the sneakers! Prep is key, people. I scrubbed those suckers down to make sure the paint would stick.
- Step 3: Taped off the areas I didn’t want to paint. This was the tedious part, but I was trying to be all, neat and perfect.
- Step 4: Painting! Slapped that green on. It took, like, three coats to get it really vibrant.
- Step 5: Details. I used a tiny brush to add some black and white stripes and splatters, trying to make it look like the shoes in the pictures.
- Step 6: Waiting… So. Much. Waiting. For. It. To. Dry.
The Result
Honestly, they turned out pretty awesome, very eye-catching, just like I have imagined. Super bright, super loud, and definitely unique.I am gonna wear it when going out to see how people would react, LOL!
