Okay, so I saw this question popping up everywhere: “Who is Christian McCaffrey’s dad?” I knew the name sounded familiar, but I couldn’t place it. So, I decided to do a little digging of my own. Time to do a little research, right?

I found out that Ed McCaffrey wasn’t just some guy – the dude was a professional football player himself! He played as a wide receiver, no less. And get this, he was in the NFL for 13 seasons. 13! That’s a pretty long career.
He played for some big-name teams, too – the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and the Denver Broncos. I recognized all those names, so he must’ve been pretty good.
And it looks like he didn’t just play pro, he went to Stanford for college and was even an All-American back in 1990. I read “first-team” All-American, so that means he was one of the very best college players that year.
