Okay, so today I wanted to really dig into the Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins game. I’m a huge stats nerd, and I love seeing how players perform head-to-head. So, I decided to record all the player stats from the game.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to find a good source for the game data. There are a bunch of sports websites out there, but I needed one that was reliable and gave me all the details.
The Data Hunt
I started by searching a few different sports, and I had to try a few different ones until I found one with a really good game summary. It’s kind of annoying when sites don’t lay out the information clearly, you know?
Recording the Stats
- Pitchers: I made sure to note down every pitcher, how many innings they pitched, their strikeouts, walks, hits allowed, and earned runs. All the essential stuff.
- Batters: For the batters, I tracked their at-bats, hits, runs, RBIs, and any extra-base hits like doubles, triples, or home runs. Gotta see who’s crushing it!
Manually entering all this data was a bit tedious, It felt like it took forever, but it was worth it to have it all organized.
The Final Product
Finally, I put all the stats into a simple spreadsheet. I didn’t do anything fancy, just rows and columns for each player and their stats. It’s nothing pretty, but it gets the job done. Now I have a complete record of how each player performed in the Dodgers vs. Marlins game! This way, I can easily check the players’ performance in this competition next time!
