Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Wuthering Waves lately, and one thing that always gets me curious is the voice acting. I mean, who are these people bringing these characters to life? Today, I decided to focus on Calcharo, specifically his Japanese voice actor.

First, I gotta say, finding info on voice actors can sometimes be a pain. It’s not always as straightforward as you’d think! But, I was determined. I started with a simple search, something like “Calcharo voice actor Japanese”. You know, the usual.
My go-to move is usually to scan through a bunch of search results, looking for any reliable-looking websites. Forums can be helpful, but you gotta be careful ’cause anyone can post anything there. I was looking for something a bit more official.
Digging Through the Results
After a little bit of scrolling and clicking, I managed to Find a piece of valid information. It was all from English to Japanese, and I just happened to find it.
- English Dub: Ben Cura. I hadn’t heard that name before.
- Japanese Dub: Toshiyuki Morikawa. Boom! That’s the name I needed. This name rang a bell, though.
I’m pretty sure I’ve heard Toshiyuki Morikawa in other stuff. He’s got one of those voices that just sticks with you, you know?
It’s always cool to put a face to the voice, so I did a quick image search for both of them. It’s neat to see who’s behind the performance.
Anyway, that’s my little voice actor investigation for the day. It might not be the most groundbreaking discovery, but it’s fun to learn these little details about the games I’m playing. Now, every time I hear Calcharo speak in Japanese, I’ll be thinking of Toshiyuki Morikawa!
