Okay, so I’ve been messing around with fantasy football stuff, and this week I was really focused on Jerry Jeudy. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster.
Getting Started: The Research
First thing I did was dive into some stats. I spent a good chunk of time looking at Jeudy’s past performances, you know, how many targets he’s been getting, his catch rate, all that jazz. I was trying to figure out if he was gonna be a boom or bust kind of player for Week 3.
- Checked out his targets from the first two weeks.
- Looked at his average yards per catch.
- Compared his stats to other receivers on my team.
The Doubt Creeps In
Honestly, after all that research, I still wasn’t 100% sure. He’s had some good games, but also some real duds. It’s tough to predict! I even asked my buddy, you konw, I said, ‘Hey, what do you think about Jeudy this week?’ He wasn’t much help, to be honest.
Making the Decision (and Changing My Mind…Twice)
So, game day rolls around, and I’m still flipping back and forth. Started him, then benched him, then started him again. It was a mess! I was driving myself crazy. I think I finally decided to start him about 5 minutes before kickoff. Talk about cutting it close!
The Game – and The Agony!
The game starts, and I’m glued to the screen. Every time the Broncos are on offense, I’m just waiting for them to throw to Jeudy. He gets a couple of targets early on, but nothing major. My heart was kinda sinking. I was starting to think I made the wrong choice.
The Final Result
Well, it wasn’t a total disaster, at least Jeudy didn’t get zero points. I did see some targets but not too much. It’s not the best choice, It feels okay.
Maybe next week I will try to figure it out again, I gotta keep messing with this stuff.
