Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “weapon master ranks” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started off completely clueless, just swinging my virtual sword around like a maniac. No strategy, no finesse, just pure button-mashing chaos.

Getting Started
First, I had to figure out what the heck I was even supposed to be doing. I mean, “weapon master ranks” sounds cool, but what does it mean? I poked around in the menus, checked out some online guides (which were surprisingly unhelpful, by the way), and basically just experimented until things started to click.
The basic idea, as far as I can tell, is that you earn points for using different weapons. The more you use a weapon, the higher your rank with that weapon becomes. Simple enough, right?
The Grind Begins
Wrong! It turns out that getting good with even a single weapon takes a lot of time. I started with the basic sword, figuring it would be the easiest to master. I spent hours just hacking and slashing at anything that moved. My fingers started to ache, my eyes started to blur, and I’m pretty sure I developed a mild case of carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Day 1: Felt like a total noob. Kept getting killed by even the weakest enemies.
- Day 2: Started to get the hang of the basic combos. Still dying a lot, but feeling slightly less incompetent.
- Day 3: Finally reached rank C with the sword! Celebrated with a pizza.
- Day 4: Realized that rank C is basically nothing. The grind continues…
Branching Out
After what felt like an eternity, I finally hit rank B with the sword. I decided to switch things up and try a different weapon. I went with the axe, because, well, axes are cool. Big mistake. The axe is so slow. I felt like I was moving in slow motion. Every swing took forever, and I was constantly getting interrupted by faster enemies.
I persevered, though. I learned to time my swings better, to anticipate enemy attacks, and to use the axe’s heavy attacks to my advantage. It was a painful process, but eventually, I started to see some progress.
Finally, Some Progress!
After weeks of grinding, I’ve managed to reach rank A with the sword, rank B with the axe, and rank C with a couple of other weapons. I’m still nowhere near mastering all of them, but I’m starting to feel like a real weapon master. Or at least, a slightly less incompetent one.
The key, I’ve found, is patience and persistence. You’re going to die a lot. You’re going to get frustrated. You’re going to want to throw your controller across the room. But if you stick with it, you’ll eventually start to see results. And when you finally unlock that shiny new weapon rank, it’ll all be worth it. Maybe.
