Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into EA FC 24 lately, and one thing I really wanted to check out was how Paolo Maldini felt in-game. You know, the legendary defender, always been a huge fan. So, I started up the game, ready to get him on my squad.

First things first, I needed to actually get Maldini. I jumped into Ultimate Team, ’cause that’s where all the Icons are. Now, there are a few ways to do this. I could try my luck with packs, but let’s be real, the odds are never in your favor.
So, I went the other route. I Took a look into the ongoing activities and found his task. Finally, I got him.

Alright, team assembled, Maldini in at center-back. Time to play some matches!
- Tackling: Man, this guy’s tackling is just insane. It’s like, he just knows where the ball is gonna be. Clean tackles, hardly ever gives away fouls. It’s exactly what you’d expect.
- Positioning: Always in the right place at the right time. He reads the game so well, intercepts passes like it’s nothing. It felt like having a cheat code at the back.
- Strength: He’s strong, you know? Really holds his ground against those speedy strikers. Not easily pushed off the ball.
- Pace: Okay, he’s not the fastest defender, especially compared to some of these newer cards. But, his positioning and tackling more than make up for it. He’s fast enough, let’s put it that way.
My Overall Feeling
Honestly, playing with Maldini in EA FC 24 is awesome. He’s just a solid, reliable defender. He feels like a wall back there.
If you’re a fan of the classic defenders, or just need someone rock-solid in your back line, I’d definitely say give him a go. It’s a total throwback, and he really does live up to the legend, even in a video game. Now, he is just my type of player so maybe you are different, I suggest you try first and see if it fits your gameplay.
