Okay, so I wanted to keep better track of the Chiefs games this season. I’m a huge fan, but sometimes I miss games or just want a quick recap. I figured, why not build something myself to grab the box scores? Let’s dive into what I did.

Finding the Data
First, I needed to find a place to get the data. I poked around the internet a bit. Searched a bunch of sports websites. Finally I could find the information what I want.
Getting the Data into My System
Next up, now I get to see box score chiefs. I can see every data that I want to check!
Making it Look Nice (or at least readable)
Lastly, presentation time. The raw data is, well, raw. It is not very readable.
- Checked the different games.
- Checked for errors. I initially had some issues with games.
It’s not super fancy, but it works! I can now easily check the Chiefs’ box scores whenever I want, and I have a record of each game. And the best part is, I built it myself! It was a fun little project, and I learned a few things along the way. Go Chiefs!
