Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into the world of CM Punk’s tattoos lately. It’s something I’ve always been curious about, and I finally decided to do some real digging and see what I could find. I figure, I gotta document the whole process right?

The Initial Search
First, I just started with a broad search. I typed in “CM Punk tattoos” and see what came up. I mean who doesn’t use Google?
I scrolled through a ton of images, random articles, and forum discussions. To be frank, the internet’s a bit of a mess, It’s hard to know who to trust, So I am going my way.
Gathering the Intel
Next, I started to get a bit more organized. I opened up a new document and began to make a list. Because that’s how I roll.
- Pepsi Globe
- Cobra Command Logo
- “Straight Edge”
- “Luck is for Losers”
- …and many more!
I jotted down notes about each one, like where it’s located on his body, and anything I could find about its potential meaning. I spent a good few hours just doing this, cross-referencing different sources and trying to piece together a coherent picture. Some information conflicts for sure.
Deep Diving on Specific Tattoos
Then, I decided to really zoom in on a few specific tattoos that I was very interested in. For example, that Pepsi logo. I wanted to get this one. I looked up interviews where he might have talked about it, and I dug through old wrestling forums for fan theories.
I did the same thing with the Cobra Command logo and the “Straight Edge” text on his stomach. I wanted to know, is that a personal choice? Or it is just a big advertisement? I read, I watched, I listened – anything to try and get some insight straight from the source, or at least from reliable fan accounts.
Putting It All Together
Finally, I took all my notes, all the images I’d saved, and all the conflicting information I’d gathered, and tried to make sense of it all. I wrote down my own interpretations, based on everything I’d learned.
It’s a lot, It’s been a surprisingly deep rabbit hole to go down, but I am finally getting a better understanding of CM Punk, not just the wrestler, but the person, through his ink. I should have done that earlier.
