Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Wuthering Waves, and let me tell you, this “Animal Quest Line” thing? It’s a whole journey. I stumbled upon it almost by accident, and honestly, it turned out to be way more involved than I expected.

It all started when I was just roaming around, exploring the map – you know, the usual. I ran into this weird-looking creature, kind of like a fluffy…thing. I can’t even describe it properly. It was near Jinzhou, I think, just wandering around. I interacted with it, and boom, quest started. No big announcement, just a little prompt.
The first part was simple enough. The fluffy thing – let’s call it Floof – wanted some food. Basic stuff, I gathered some berries nearby, fed it, and it seemed happy. I thought, “Cool, easy quest.” Boy, was I wrong.
The Fetching Begins
Floof then led me on a wild goose chase. Seriously, this little guy had me running all over the map. It wanted this specific type of flower, then some shiny rocks, then…I don’t even remember, it was a blur of fetching items. Each time, I thought, “This has to be it, right?” Nope. More running.
- Find the first food.
- Gather the flowers.
- Collected a bunch of stones.
Getting Lost (Multiple Times)
The worst part? The quest markers weren’t always super clear. I ended up getting lost a few times, wandering into areas with enemies way above my level. I got my butt kicked more than once, I’ll admit. It was frustrating, but also kind of fun, in a masochistic way.
I spent hours on this, I swear. Following Floof, finding random items, fighting off those annoying creatures that kept popping up. It felt like it would never end.
Finally…The Reward!
But finally, after what felt like an eternity, Floof stopped. We were at this beautiful overlook, and the sun was setting. It was actually pretty stunning. Floof did a little dance, and then…I got my reward. It was not bad at all! To be fair, I have to go back and see If there is more to the quest line.
So, yeah, that’s my story of the Wuthering Waves Animal Quest Line. It was a long, sometimes annoying, but ultimately rewarding experience. Would I do it again? Probably. Am I glad it’s over? * you decide to take it on, be prepared for a long haul. And maybe bring some snacks. You’ll need them.
