Alright, so today I decided to dive into the world of DraftKings NBA lineups. I’ve dabbled a bit before, but I wanted to get a little more serious and see if I could actually put together a winning lineup.

First things first, I started doing some research. I checked out some projections on some websites, scoured through injury reports to make sure my guys are actually playing, and looked at some recent player stats. You know, basic stuff to get a feel for who’s hot and who’s not.
Figuring Out My Strategy
I figured, I am going to check who is playing. It helps to get some ideas, and I’ll build some thoughts around that.
Building the Lineup
Next, I went to DraftKings and started looking at the player salaries. This is where it gets tricky, because you have a $50,000 salary cap, and you gotta fill nine roster spots: PG, SG, SF, PF, C, G, F, and UTIL.
- Point Guard (PG):I decided who is going to start.
- Shooting Guard (SG):Also who is good to start.
- Small Forward (SF): Picked a solid, mid-range guy.
- Power Forward (PF):Spent up a little.
- Center (C):Decided to check for.
- Guard (G):This is a flex spot, can be PG or SG, Looked for.
- Forward (F):Another flex, SF or PF. Went with.
- Utility (UTIL): Any position. This is where I put.
After I locked them in, I submitted my lineup. Now, it’s just a waiting game. I’ll be keeping an eye on the games tonight to see how my guys do. Fingers crossed!
