Okay, so I wanted to make a prediction for the Trail Blazers vs. Raptors game. Here’s how I went about it, step-by-step:

Looked at Recent Games
First, I checked out how both teams have been playing lately. I didn’t go super in-depth, just wanted a general feel. You know, are they on a winning streak? Losing streak? How’s their scoring been?
- I started by finding some recent game results. Simple stuff, just wins and losses.
- Then I scrolled through to find out how have they been playing.
Checked for Injuries
This is a big one. Are any key players out? A star player on the bench can totally change the game. So I looked up injury reports for both teams. I made a list about the Injured Players.
Considered Home vs. Away
Home court advantage is a real thing. Teams usually play better at home. So I checked which team was playing at home for this game.
Head-to-Head Record
I also looked at how these two teams have done against each other in the past. Sometimes one team just has another team’s number, you know?
- I quickly looked at past games and saw which of the 2 teams was winning.
Putting It All Together
After gathering all this info, I just kind of…weighed it all in my head. It’s not an exact science, more of a gut feeling based on the data. I factored in recent performance, injuries, home/away, and head-to-head to come up with my prediction and then, made my prediction!
It is my first time to do this, and it is very fun!
