Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about the “Tom Brady kiss son” thing, written in a casual, personal style, like I’m just sharing my experience:

Alright, so I saw this whole “Tom Brady kissing his son” thing blowing up online, and I was like, “What’s the big deal?” I mean, I’m a dad, I kiss my kids. But then, the comments were going crazy, both for and against it. So I decided to dive deeper into the online rabbit hole.
First, I just googled “Tom Brady kiss son.” Boom! Tons of articles, videos, tweets, everything. I started by just watching a few of the videos of the actual moments. They were mostly from his documentary, I think, or maybe some interviews. Short little clips, nothing crazy.
Then I started reading some of the articles. Some were just straight news reports, like, “Here’s what happened.” Others were opinion pieces, either defending Brady or saying it was weird. That’s when the light bulb came on. It became clear that a simple gesture has become a big debate.
- Found the original videos. Checked.
- Read news reports about it. Checked.
- Dug into opinion pieces. Checked.
I spent, I don’t know, maybe an hour or two just going through all this stuff. The more I read, the more I realized it’s not really about the kiss itself. It’s become more about something bigger, I guess. It become about how people see parenting, what’s “normal” for families, and even just how we react to celebrities in general.
My Final Thoughts
It was an interesting little experiment. I started out just curious, and ended up thinking a lot about how we judge each other, especially online. And honestly, it made me want to hug my own kids a little tighter, regardless of what anyone else thinks.
