Okay, so the other day I was thinking about Novak Djokovic. You see him on TV, winning all those tennis matches, and I just got curious about his personal life, you know? Like, what’s his story off the court?

I decided to actually look into it. Wasn’t some big research project, just wanted to satisfy my curiosity. So, I sat down and did a quick search online. My process was pretty straightforward, really.
Finding Out About His Wife
First thing I looked for was if he was married. It’s usually the easiest thing to find out about celebrities.
- Typed in something simple like “djokovic wife”.
- Saw a name pop up consistently: Jelena Djokovic (formerly Ristić, I think).
- Read a bit here and there. It seems they’ve known each other since high school, which I thought was kind of neat. They got married back in 2014, if I remember what I saw correctly.
So, that answered the wife question. Seemed pretty solid, they’ve been together for ages.
What About Kids?
Naturally, the next thought was, do they have kids? Having a long-term partner often leads to that.
So, I adjusted my search slightly.
- Tried “djokovic children” or “djokovic kids”.
- And yeah, information came up pretty quick.
- Found out they have two kids. A son first, then a daughter.
I dug just a tiny bit more to get the names, just to complete the picture in my head.
Found these names:
- Their son is named Stefan, born I think also in 2014, not long after they got married.
- Their daughter is named Tara, born a few years later, maybe 2017?
And that was pretty much it. My curiosity was satisfied. It wasn’t like I was trying to dig deep into their private lives, just wanted the basic picture. It’s interesting sometimes to see the human side of these global sports figures. So, he’s got Jelena, Stefan, and Tara. Just a normal family setup, really, behind all the Grand Slams and headlines.
That was my little practice run of finding out about Djokovic’s family. Simple search, got the answers I was looking for. Done.
