Okay, let’s talk about getting those materials for Sethos. It was something I had on my list for a bit.

Starting the Hunt
So, first thing, I needed to figure out exactly what materials Sethos actually used. I pulled up the character info, made a quick list. Looked like a couple of different things, mostly some specific enemy drops and a local specialty item.
I decided to tackle the enemy drops first. Seemed like the most straightforward part, you know? Find the guys, beat ’em up, collect the shiny bits they leave behind. Easy enough, right?
The Grind Begins
Well, finding them wasn’t too hard. I remembered seeing these particular enemies hanging around certain spots. I marked a few locations on my map that seemed promising. Then I just started teleporting around, running from spot to spot.
The process was pretty simple:
- Warp to the nearest waypoint.
- Run over to where the enemies usually spawn.
- Beat them down. Took a few hits, nothing too crazy.
- Scoop up whatever they dropped.
- Check my inventory, see how many I got.
- Move on to the next spot.
Honestly, the drop rates weren’t amazing. Sometimes I’d clear a whole group and only get one or two of the things I needed. Other times, a bit luckier. It just took time, doing the same loop over and over. Put on some music, zoned out a bit, just kept at it.
Gathering the Plants
After I felt I had enough of the enemy stuff (or got bored of fighting, maybe a bit of both), I switched to the local specialty. These things only grow in specific areas, usually tucked away in corners or up on cliffs.
So, I pulled up a map someone else made showing the locations. Very helpful. Then it was just more running around. This felt a bit quicker, less fighting involved. Just spot the glowing plant, grab it, move to the next marker.
Some were tricky to get to, needed a bit of climbing or gliding. But mostly it was just following the path. Did a full route, picked up quite a few. I knew they’d respawn after a couple of days, so I wasn’t too worried if I missed some. I could always come back later if needed.

Wrapping It Up
After a solid session of running around and fighting things, I checked my inventory again. Looked like I had a decent amount of everything on my list for Sethos. Maybe not enough to max him out completely right away, but definitely enough to get him started and leveled up quite a bit.
It wasn’t the most exciting activity, gotta admit. Just a necessary chore, really. But hey, that’s how these games work. You gotta put in the time to gather the bits and pieces. Felt good to have it mostly done, though. Now I can actually use the character instead of just planning for him.
