Well, look at this, a shirt for the young’uns. That “youth chiefs jersey pacheco” thing, it’s somethin’ alright. My grandson, he likes those sporty clothes. Always runnin’ around like a chicken with its head cut off, playin’ ball or somethin’. He’d probably like one of them shirts, with that fella’s name on it. Pacheco, that’s it.
Now, I ain’t one for all that fancy stuff, but these shirts, they got colors, bright ones. Red, black, they stand out. Makes it easy to spot the kids when they’re out playin’, ya know? Keeps ’em from gettin’ lost in the crowd. My eyes ain’t what they used to be, so the brighter the better, I say.
And that “Nike” name on it, seems like it’s on everything these days. Shoes, shirts, pants, even socks! My daughter, she buys her boy all that Nike stuff. Says it’s good quality. Well, I reckon it better be, for the price she pays! Kids grow so fast, they barely wear somethin’ before they outgrow it.

Folks are buyin’ these shirts like hotcakes, seems like. “Limited edition” they say, or “Super Bowl” somethin’ somethin’. Makes ’em sound special, I guess. Kids want what their friends have, ya know? It’s always been that way. Reminds me of when I was young, everyone wanted them hula hoops. Fads come and go, but kids always want the newest thing.
They got these shirts at the “Chiefs Shop,” wherever that is. Probably some fancy store in the city. You can buy ’em online too, I hear. My daughter, she’s always on that internet, buyin’ stuff. I don’t know how it works, all them buttons and screens. Too complicated for an old woman like me.
This “Pacheco” fella, he must be a good player if they puttin’ his name on shirts. Kids look up to these sports stars, wanna be like them. It’s important they got good role models, ya know? Someone who works hard, plays fair, and ain’t gettin’ into trouble.
Polyester, they say it’s made of.
Don’t know much about that, but it sounds like it’ll last. Kids are tough on clothes, runnin’ and jumpin’ and whatnot. Gotta have somethin’ that can take a beatin’. Wash and wear, that’s what I like. No fancy dry cleanin’ or ironin’ for me.
