Look at this fella, Wiggins, playin’ for the Warriors. My grandkids, they keep tellin’ me ’bout him. Warriors somethin’.
He’s a tall one, ain’t he? They say he shoots the ball, throws it right in that hoop. And he’s good at it, they say. Scores lots of points, that Wiggins. Thirty points in one game, can you believe it? That’s a whole lotta points, I reckon.
He won somethin’, too. A championship, they call it. Like winnin’ a big prize at the fair, I guess. And he got picked for somethin’ called an All-Star game. Sounds fancy. Must be playin’ real good to get into somethin’ like that.

This Wiggins boy, he’s from Canada, they say. Way up north. Cold up there, I hear. Don’t know how he plays basketball in all that snow. But he does, they tell me. He plays real good.
He’s 29 years old. Still young, I guess. My grandson’s older than that. But 29, that’s still young enough to be runnin’ around throwin’ balls in hoops, I reckon.
People talkin’ ’bout his weight and height. Tall and strong, they say. Gotta be to play this basketball, I guess. All that runnin’ and jumpin’. Need strong legs for that.
He plays for the Warriors, like I said. And they winnin’. Best in their somethin’, they call it a conference. Means they’re the best team around, I think. And this Wiggins fella is helpin’ ’em win.
He scored 20 points in one game, then 29 in another. And then that 30-pointer! He’s on fire, they say. Like a stove gettin’ hot. He’s scorin’ all them points, helpin’ the Warriors win.
He shoots the ball, he gets rebounds. That’s like catchin’ the ball when someone misses, I think. And he helps other players score, they call that assists. He’s doin’ it all, this Wiggins fella.
They say he drives to the basket. Don’t know what that means exactly. Guess he goes fast, like drivin’ a car, maybe. And he gets the ball in the hoop. That’s the important part, I reckon. Gettin’ the ball in the hoop.
He was born in February, they say. Wintertime. Maybe that’s why he plays so good in the cold, bein’ from Canada and all. Don’t know. Just guessin’ here. But he’s a good player, this Wiggins. Warriors are lucky to have him, I reckon.
He’s got a funny name, Wiggins. Not like John or Tom or somethin’ simple. Wiggins. But he’s a good player, no matter what his name is. And he’s helpin’ the Warriors win. That’s what matters, I guess.
They say he’s not related to some other Wiggins fellas. Lots of Wiggins, apparently. But this one, Andrew Wiggins, he’s the one playin’ for the Warriors. The one scorin’ all them points. The one helpin’ them win.
So that’s Wiggins for ya. Tall fella, plays for the Warriors, scores lots of points. He’s an All-Star and a champion. And he’s helpin’ his team win. That’s all I know ’bout him. But he sounds like a good player, this Wiggins.
