Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Brig Hartson. He plays football, ya know, the kind where they throw the ball and run around. I ain’t never been to one of them fancy games, but I seen ’em on that there TV sometimes.
This Brig fella, he’s a player for the Colorado State Rams. Now, I don’t know much about these Rams, but I reckon they’s a college team, ya know, like the young’uns play in. They say he’s a QB/TE, or somethin’ like that. Means he throws the ball and maybe catches it too, I guess. Lord knows these young folks got too many fancy names for things these days.
They say he’s got stats and achievements, all these numbers and things. Folks keep track of how many times he throws the ball, how many times they catch it, how far they run with it. Beats me why they care so much, but I hear it’s important for them fantasy games, where folks pretend they own the teams. Silly, if ya ask me, but to each their own, I always say.
- He plays for Colorado State. That’s what they tell me.
- He’s a QB/TE, whatever that means. Throws the ball, catches the ball, somethin’ like that.
- People like to look at his stats. Numbers, numbers, numbers. They say it helps with them fantasy games.
I saw somethin’ ’bout him havin’ a bio, a story ’bout his life, I reckon. And they got news ’bout him too, what he’s doin’ and such. Must be important to somebody, all this stuff. They even got videos of him playin’, runnin’ around and throwin’ that ball. It’s all on that there ESPN, the sports channel. My grandson watches it all the time, yellin’ at the TV. Kids these days, I tell ya.
They say he plays wide receiver too. Now that’s a new one. Seems like these fellas do a bit of everythin’ these days. Can’t just stick to one thing, can they? Always gotta be doin’ somethin’ different. Keeps ’em busy, I guess. And it gives them fellas at ESPN somethin’ to talk about, that’s for sure.
Heard tell this Brig fella played in a lot of games. Got a whole history, they say. Played for different teams, maybe. I don’t rightly know, it’s all a bit confusing to me. But them sports folks, they eat this stuff up. They remember every game, every score, everythin’. Got better memories than me, that’s for sure. I can barely remember what I had for breakfast this mornin’.
So, this Brig Hartson, he’s a football player. Plays for the Rams, throws the ball, catches the ball, runs around. Got stats, got a bio, got news, got videos. He’s a busy fella, seems like. And folks seem to care a whole lot about what he does. Me? I’m just happy if the garden grows and the chickens lay eggs. But hey, it takes all kinds to make a world, I always say.
Now, this ain’t got nothin’ to do with Brig, but I seen somethin’ ’bout tanks. Yeah, them big metal things that go boom. Said somethin’ ’bout upgrades and destroyin’ bosses and secret rooms. Sounded like a game my grandson plays, all that shootin’ and explodin’. Kids these days, they got such wild imaginations. And all them achievements they talk about, gamin’ scores and such. Land sakes, it’s a whole different world from when I was young.
But back to Brig. He’s a football player, a Ram, a QB/TE/wide receiver, whatever all that means. And that’s about all I know ’bout him. Seems like a nice young fella, though. Hope he does well, whatever he does. And I hope those Rams win some games, make folks happy. That’s what it’s all about, ain’t it? Makin’ folks happy. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them chickens.
