Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Shinsuke Nakamura, and what’s been going on with him. You know, the one with the wild hair and the moves like a cat? Yeah, him.

What’s the deal with Shinsuke Nakamura and this injury talk? Folks been whisperin’ and gossiping like hens in a henhouse. Is he hurt? Is he not? Well, lemme tell ya what I heard, and it ain’t always easy to make sense of it all.
Seems like the last time anyone saw him wrasslin’ on TV was way back in April, somethin’ like April 22nd, 2024. He lost to that fella, Sheamus, in some place called Columbus. Schottenstein Center, they called it, fancy name for a wrasslin’ arena if you ask me.
Now, some folks sayin’ he got a boo-boo on his hand. A hand injury, they call it. This happened way back in December, they say. Poor fella, can’t wrassle with a bad hand, can ya? Can’t hardly do nothin’ with a bad hand, even holdin’ a teacup get’s tricky, not to mention wrasslin’ them big ol’ fellas. I tell you, wrasslin’ ain’t no joke, they jump and they thump and they slam each other around, somethin’ bound to get broke sooner or later. And that fella Boogs, he was yappin’ ‘bout it on some show, sayin’ Nakamura wasn’t cleared to fight. Instagram too, seems everyone’s got somethin’ to say on the Instagram.
- Last TV match: April 22, 2024
- Lost to Sheamus in Columbus
- Hand injury since December
- Not cleared to wrestle, according to Boogs
But then you hear other things, you know? Folks sayin’ he ain’t hurt at all! “He’s healthy!” they shout. Well, which is it? Hurt or healthy? Makes a body dizzy tryin’ to keep up with all the talk. Seems like some folks are just stirrin’ up trouble, like my old rooster back on the farm, always cluckin’ and fussin’ but never layin’ no eggs.
Here’s the thing, though. This Nakamura fella, he’s been around for a while. Been wrasslin’ since 2016, they say, and he’s won all sorts of belts and championships. Big ones too, not no chicken feed prizes. NXT, Intercontinental, United States, and some tag team thingy, he done won ‘em all. Sounds like a tough cookie to me, not someone who’d let a little boo-boo keep him down for long.
And get this, he’s goin’ back to Japan in January 2025, to some other wrasslin’ place called Pro Wrestling NOAH. But don’t you fret none, he ain’t leavin’ that WWE place, not yet anyways. Still got a contract, they say. So maybe he’s just takin’ a breather, you know? Lettin’ that hand heal up, gettin’ ready for more wrasslin’ later on.
This fella, he’s a good wrassler, from what I hear. Folks say he’s one of the best in the world! He’s got all sorts of fancy moves and such, uses that MMA stuff, which I ain’t quite sure what it is but sounds tough, in his wrasslin’. Even got a special finishing move, somethin’ he calls Kinshasa now, used to be called somethin’ else before, Bomaye, I think. Named after some fight with Muhammad Ali, a famous boxer way back when. Now that’s a name I know!
So, is Shinsuke Nakamura injured? Well, it seems like he might have had a hand problem, but it’s hard to say for sure. Maybe he’s better now, maybe he’s still healin’ up. One thing’s for certain, he’s a tough wrassler, and I bet we’ll see him back in the ring soon enough, slinging those fellas around like sacks of potatoes.

And that’s all I know ’bout that. Don’t go listenin’ to all the gossip, you hear? Just wait and see what happens. That’s the best way to do it, in my opinion.
