Alright, let’s talk about this Tarah Murrey gal. I heard some things about her, you know, the kind of stuff people gossip about. So, lemme tell ya what I know, in my own way, like I’m chattin’ with ya over a cup of coffee.
First off, Tarah, she was born on March 28, 1990. That makes her, what, uh… a spring chicken no more! She’s a volleyball player, a good one at that, from America. I ain’t no expert, but they say she was somethin’ special back in the day.
Now, her family, they’re sporty folks too. Her daddy, Douglas Murrey, played basketball, real good apparently. Got picked by the Golden State Warriors way back when, in 1981. Her momma, Barbara, she played volleyball too, just like Tarah. So, it runs in the blood, ya see? They both went to San Jose State, smart cookies, I guess.
- Daddy: Douglas Murrey, basketball player
- Momma: Barbara Murrey, volleyball player
- Tarah: Volleyball star
When Tarah was just a young’un, a teenager, she played in this big volleyball thing, the 2006 Girls’ Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship. And wouldn’t you know it, she and her team won the whole darn thing! Got a gold medal and everything. They even said she was the best player there, the “most valuable player,” they called it. Imagine that, a little girl, best of the bunch.
Now, Tarah ain’t just a volleyball player. She’s also a wife and a momma. She married this fella, Marcus Semien. He plays baseball, for the Texas Rangers, you know, the team with the big hats. They got themselves a whole bunch of kids, four of ‘em! Three boys – Isaiah, Joshua, and Eli – and just recently, a little girl, Amelie. That little girl, she came right in the middle of her daddy’s big baseball games, in October 2023. Imagine that, he’s playin’ ball and she’s bein’ born! He musta been one worried and happy fella all at once.
Marcus and Tarah, they seem real happy together. They say they got a strong bond, a real lovey-dovey thing going on. Which is good, you know, family’s important. It ain’t easy raisin’ four young’uns, let me tell ya. All that running around, feeding ‘em, keepin’ ‘em outta trouble.
Back in her high school days, Tarah was a real star too. They called her one of the “Fab 50” high school players by Volleyball Magazine. That’s a pretty big deal, I reckon. She went to St. Mary’s College High School in Berkeley, California. A fancy place, I bet, with all them smart kids.
So, that’s the story of Tarah Murrey, as far as I know it. A good volleyball player, comes from a good family, got herself a good husband and a bunch of kids. She sounds like a real go-getter, that one. And that’s all there is to it, plain and simple, just like I like it.
Now, I ain’t no fancy writer, just tellin’ it like it is. Hope you understand it all, ya hear? It’s just a story about a woman, livin’ her life, playin’ her games, and raisin’ her family. Just like the rest of us, tryin’ to make the best of it.
