Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this wrestling stuff, the WWE, you know? Folks keep askin’ me, “What’s the next big show? When’s the next time we gonna see them fellas smackin’ each other around?” So, I figured I’d lay it all out for ya, simple and plain.
Now, they call these big wrestling shows “Premium Live Events,” or somethin’ like that. PLEs, they say. Used to just call ’em pay-per-views, but I guess they gotta make things sound fancy. Whatever you call ’em, they’re the big deals, the ones where everybody gets together and hollers at the TV.
Okay, so comin’ up soon, real soon, we got this Crown Jewel thing. That’s gonna be on Saturday, November 2nd, in Riyadh. Yeah, way over there in that desert place. Heard tell it’s gonna be a big one, lots of fireworks and such. They gonna be wrestlin’ in somethin’ called the Mohammad Abdo Arena, sounds grand, don’t it?

Then, after that, in December, on the 14th to be exact, there’s somethin’ called WWE Saturday Night Main Event. That one’s gonna be in New York, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Sounds like a mouthful, but it’s just a big buildin’, ya know? This one’s special, they sayin’ it’s gonna be on Peacock and NBC at the same time. Fancy stuff, I tell ya.

But the one everyone’s really buzzin’ about, the one that gets folks riled up, that’s the Royal Rumble. That’s comin’ up in February, on the 1st. They say it’s one of the biggest of the whole year, along with WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Money in the Bank. They call ’em the “Big Five”, like they’re somethin’ special. Well, I guess they are, considerin’ how much folks yell at the TV durin’ those ones.

Now, these wrestling folks, they like to keep us on our toes. They don’t always tell you everything right away. So, we gotta keep our ears open, you hear? They got these shows all year round, pretty much once a month. You can find ’em on that Peacock thing, and on the WWE Network. They even had one of them big money shows up in Canada this year, in Toronto. See, they movin’ all over the place.
And get this, next year, in 2025, some of these shows are gonna be on Netflix. But just in some places, not here in the US. Here, they still gonna be on that Peacock. So, you gotta figure out where you are and what you can watch, I guess. It’s all a bit much for an old lady like me, but I try to keep up.
So, there ya have it. That’s the scoop on what’s comin’ up in the WWE. Crown Jewel, Saturday Night Main Event, Royal Rumble, and then all them other big ones later on. Just remember to check back now and then, ’cause these wrestling folks, they like to change things up on ya. They got their Raw and Smackdown shows too, but those ain’t the big ones, ya know? Those are just the weekly get-togethers where they set up all the drama for the PLEs.
And that’s all there is to it. Don’t let all them fancy words fool ya. It’s just wrestlin’, plain and simple. Good guys, bad guys, and lots of smackin’ around. Keep an eye out for updates, they always changin’ things, those wrestling fellas. Dates, places, they move around like chickens in the yard. But that’s the fun of it, I guess. Keeps things excitin’. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find my glasses. All this talk about wrestlin’ made me lose ’em somewhere.
One more thing, if you want to know what happened at the last show, or who won what, you can go look it up on the internet. They got all that stuff on there, results and dates and all. Just type in “WWE PPV schedule” or somethin’ like that, and you’ll find it. But be careful, that internet’s a wild place, full of all sorts of things. Don’t go gettin’ yourself lost in there.
