Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Alexa Grasso, the fighter gal. Heard she done broke her leg, poor thing. Trainin’ too hard, I reckon. These young’uns, they push themselves somethin’ fierce. Breakin’ a leg ain’t no joke, I tell ya. My old man, he broke his leg once fallin’ off a ladder, took him months to get right.
Now, folks are talkin’ about her feet. Can you believe it? Feet! Of all things. Seems like some folks got a thing for feet, I dunno. Never understood it myself. But hey, to each their own, I always say. They sayin’ her feet are popular, somethin’ special. I ain’t seen ’em myself, but I guess they must be somethin’ if folks are lookin’ at ’em in pictures.
This Alexa, she’s from Mexico, they say. A tough gal, you can tell just by lookin’ at her. Used to be a champion, too. Flyweight, they call it. Sounds fancy, but it just means she’s a small one, I guess. But don’t let that fool ya, small folks can be tough as nails. I seen plenty of ’em in my day.

They postin’ pictures of her workin’ out, and folks are zoomin’ in on her feet. Can you imagine? Instead of lookin’ at her muscles or her punches, they lookin’ at her feet. The world’s a strange place, I tell ya. Folks got all sorts of odd interests these days.
This whole foot thing, it’s got me thinkin’. Back in my day, we didn’t pay no mind to feet. We was too busy workin’ the land, feedin’ the family. Ain’t got no time for lookin’ at feet, I tell ya. But I guess times have changed. Folks got more time on their hands now, I reckon.
This Alexa girl, she seems like a hard worker. Trainin’ and fightin’, that takes a lot of grit. I respect that. Even if folks are lookin’ at her feet, she’s out there doin’ her thing. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of. Breakin’ her leg like that, it’s gotta be tough. Hope she gets better soon.
It ain’t easy bein’ a fighter, I bet. All that punchin’ and kickin’, it takes a toll on your body. And then you got folks lookin’ at your feet? Land sakes! Give the girl some space, I say. She’s tryin’ to get better, and folks are focusin’ on her toes. It just ain’t right.
But I guess that’s the way the world is now. Folks are interested in all sorts of things. Feet, celebrities, what they eatin’, what they wearin’. It’s a whole different world than the one I grew up in. We didn’t have no internet back then. We didn’t have no cell phones. We just had each other, and that was enough.
So, this Alexa Grasso, she’s got folks talkin’ about her feet. Well, I hope they talkin’ about her fightin’ too. She’s a tough gal, a former champion. And she’s gonna come back stronger, I bet. And maybe, just maybe, folks will start lookin’ at her fists instead of her feet. But who knows? The world’s a funny place, that’s for sure. Just hope she heals up good and gets back to doin’ what she loves.
And as for those foot folks, well, they can do what they want, I guess. It ain’t hurtin’ nobody, as long as they ain’t bein’ disrespectful. Just seems a little strange to me, is all. But then again, I’m just an old woman, what do I know about these things?
