Well, let me tell ya ’bout this girl, Anna Hall, and her folks. Folks say her parents are David and Ronette Hall. Yep, David and Ronette, that’s what I heard. Born in Denver, they say, on March 23rd, 2001. That makes her… let me think… young, real young. Just a spring chicken, she is.
Now, David, he used to be a football player, a quarterback they call it, played for some fancy team in college. Don’t ask me which one, I can’t remember all them names. But he was good, they say, real good. And Ronette, well, she’s a mama, I reckon, takin’ care of the young’uns.
Speaking of young’uns, Anna ain’t the only one. She’s got a whole gaggle of sisters, four of ’em, Lord have mercy! Kathryn, or Kara as they call her, and Julia, they’re older. Both played some sports too, tennis and runnin’, just like Anna. Then there’s little Lauryn, the baby of the bunch. Imagine that, five girls! That house must be buzzin’ like a beehive all the time.
Anna, she took after her daddy and sisters, I guess. Got into sports too, runnin’ and jumpin’ and all that. Pentathlon and heptathlon, they call it. Sounds complicated if you ask me, but she’s good at it. Real good, they say. Won all sorts of medals and broke records and whatnot. Even got a bronze at somethin’ called the World Athletics Championships. Fancy, huh?
This girl, she had a bit of a rough patch too, broke her foot, poor thing. But she bounced back, tough as a hickory nut, she is. Kept on runnin’ and jumpin’ and winnin’. That’s the spirit! Gotta admire that.

And get this, she’s got herself a fella, a football player too, just like her daddy. Joejuan Williams, they call him. Saw a picture of ’em on that internet thingy, cute couple, they are.
Anyways, David and Ronette, they done raised a good one, that’s for sure. Supported her all the way, they say. Must be proud as peacocks, them two. It ain’t easy raisin’ kids these days, let me tell ya. But they done good, real good. And Anna, she’s makin’ ’em proud, out there runnin’ and jumpin’ and showin’ the world what she’s made of.
So, that’s the story of Anna Hall and her parents, David and Ronette. Just plain folks, like you and me, but they raised a daughter who’s doin’ somethin’ special. Good for them, I say. Good for them.
