Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about them football fellas, Brady and Rodgers. Heard folks jabberin’ ’bout ’em, so I figured I’d chime in, you know, give ya the lowdown, plain and simple, like it is.
Brady, that fella, he’s been around a long, long time. Folks say he’s won more games than any other quarterback ever has. Something like 251 games, can ya believe that? That’s a whole lotta football, I tell ya. And he’s thrown the ball more times than anyone too, like 12,050 times. My arm would fall off just thinkin’ about it!
And when he throws it, someone usually catches it. He’s got the most completions too, over 7,753. Shoot, that’s more than Rodgers has even tried to throw! And get this, Brady’s thrown for more touchdowns than anyone, 649 of ’em! And all them throws add up, he’s got the most passing yards too, somethin’ like 89,214 yards. That’s a country mile of football right there!
Now, Rodgers, he’s a fancy one too. They say he’s got the best passer rating ever. Don’t rightly know what that means, but sounds important, right? And he’s had a good rating for a long time, more seasons over 100 than anyone else. And this fella can run too! He gets more yards every time he runs than Brady does. Heck, Rodgers once threw six touchdowns in just one half of a game! Can ya imagine that? Six!
These two fellas, they ain’t played against each other much. Only five times in their whole careers, and just once in the playoffs. This last time, on Sunday, Brady’s team beat Rodgers’ team, score was 30 to 20. But it seems like Brady usually wins when they play against each other. He’s won two out of three times before this last game.
- Brady’s got a passer rating of 97.2 and over 89,000 yards.
- Rodgers, he’s got a 103.6 rating and around 59,000 yards.
So, see, they both got their strengths. Brady’s thrown for a whole lot more yards and touchdowns ’cause he’s played longer. But Rodgers, he’s got that fancy rating and he can run. It’s like comparing apples and oranges, ya know? Both good, just different.
They say Brady’s been on some teams that weren’t supposed to win, but he won anyway. Someone was talking about some team, since 2018, they are the worst team when they are supposed to win, and Brady was on that team for a bit. He is tough, I guess, always working hard. And when he throws it, you see how many times people catch it, 7,753 times out of 12,050 tries. That’s a lot of catches!
So, who’s better? Well, that’s for you to decide. I just tell it like it is, lay out the facts. Both of ’em are good, real good. They’ve done things most other football players only dream of. And they keep on goin’, even when they get old like me! Just goes to show ya, hard work and a good arm can take ya a long way.
Someone was showing me some chart, it had Rodgers’ 9 seasons compared to Brady’s whole career. Looked like a lot of numbers to me, but Brady had more in almost everything. But Rodgers, he was real good in those 9 seasons. Like I said, both good players, just in different ways. They play hard, and they both want to win. That’s what makes football fun to watch, even for an old lady like me.
So there ya have it. Brady and Rodgers, two of the best. Now go on and enjoy the game, and don’t forget to eat your vegetables!
