Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Becky Lynch girl, you know, the one from the wrestling shows. Folks keep askin’ me, “How does she get so strong? What’s her secret?” Well, I ain’t no fancy trainer or nothin’, but I can tell ya what I heard and what makes sense, even to an old gal like me.

First thing’s first, this Becky, she ain’t afraid of hard work. I heard she does this thing called “CrossFit”. Sounds tough, like them farm chores I used to do back in the day. Liftin’ heavy stuff, jumpin’ around, pushin’ yourself ’til you’re sweatin’ like a pig in July. That’s the kinda stuff that builds ya up, makes ya strong as an ox.
They say she does weightliftin’ too. You know, pumpin’ iron. Makes sense. Gotta build them muscles if you wanna throw folks around the ring like ragdolls. And gym classes? Probably all sorts of runnin’ and jumpin’ and stretchin’. Keeps ya limber, like a youngun, even when you’re gettin’ on in years, not that I’m that old, mind you.
- CrossFit – Tough stuff, like workin’ on the farm.
- Weightliftin’ – Pumpin’ iron, makin’ them muscles big and strong.
- Gym Classes– Runnin’, jumpin’, keepin’ ya young and spry.
Now, I heard tell she even kept at it when she was carryin’ a baby! Can you imagine? Most gals I know take it easy, put their feet up. But not Becky. She was still hittin’ the gym, “Deadboys Fitness” they call it, owned by her man and some other fella. Guess that shows ya how dedicated she is. She probably didn’t lift the real heavy stuff then, but still, movin’ around and stayin’ active is important, ya know? Just like when I was pregnant with my youngins. Had to keep the house clean and dinner on the table!
Some folks online, they’re always lookin’ for the exact workout she does. Like there’s some magic formula. Well, there ain’t no magic, I tell ya. It’s just plain ol’ hard work and stickin’ to it. But I did hear somethin’ about kettlebells. Swingin’ ’em around, twelve times, three times over. And somethin’ called “burpee box jumps”? Sounds like a lotta jumpin’ to me. And then liftin’ them dumbbells, one arm at a time. See? Nothin’ fancy, just good, solid exercise. Makes you breathless just thinking about it! Heck, it reminds me of throwin’ hay bales back in the day. Similar movements.
So, you wanna be strong like Becky Lynch? Well, get ready to sweat. Get ready to push yourself. And don’t expect it to be easy. You gotta find somethin’ you like, somethin’ that challenges you, and then stick with it. Just like Becky. She ain’t no quitter, and neither should you be. Whether it’s liftin’ weights, doin’ CrossFit, or just plain old hard work, find what works for you and get to it!
And don’t forget to eat your vegetables! That’s what I always told my youngins, and they grew up strong and healthy, just like you will if you follow Becky’s lead – work hard and stay active! It ain’t rocket science, it’s just common sense, the kind us old folks have plenty of.
Remember, consistency is key. You can’t just do it once and expect to be a superhero. It takes time and effort. Just like bakin’ a good pie, you gotta follow the recipe and be patient. Becky Lynch didn’t get strong overnight, and neither will you. So, keep at it, and you’ll see results. You might not be throwin’ people around a wrestling ring, but you’ll be strong and healthy, and that’s what matters.
