Chris Paul Brother: What’s the Deal with C.J.?
Alright, so y’all wanna know ’bout this Chris Paul fella and his brother, huh? I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the store, so I figured I’d tell ya what I know. Don’t expect no fancy talk, though. I’m just gonna tell it like it is, ya hear?
Now, Chris Paul, he’s that basketball player, right? Plays for them Suns now, I think. He’s a real good one, always dribblin’ and passin’ and makin’ them baskets. Folks say he’s a real leader, too. Always tellin’ his teammates what to do, just like my old man used to tell us kids on the farm.
But this ain’t ’bout Chris, not really. It’s ’bout his brother, C.J. That’s what they call him, C.J. Paul. Now, I ain’t never seen him play no basketball on TV like Chris, but I reckon he’s important too. Family’s important, ya know? My grandma always said, “Family’s all ya got in this world.” And she was right, bless her heart.
The Paul Family: More Than Just Chris
- Chris Paul: The basketball star. He’s the one makin’ all the headlines.
- C.J. Paul: His older brother. Not sure what he does, but he’s part of the family. That’s enough for me.
- Jada Paul: Chris’s wife. She’s a pretty thing, seen her in some pictures.
- Chris and Camryn Paul: Their kids. Little tykes, I bet. Kids are a blessin’, even if they do make a mess.
- Charles and Robin Paul: Chris and C.J.’s parents. They must be proud, raisin’ such a successful boy like Chris. And C.J. too, I’m sure. Like I always say, you raise ’em the best you can.
So, this C.J. fella, he’s part of a big family. A famous family, I guess. Chris Paul family is popular. And that’s a good thing. Family’s gotta stick together, through thick and thin. Like when we had that big storm back in ’87, all us neighbors helped each other out. That’s what family does.
Chris Paul: From Rookie to Leader
Now, I heard tell that Chris, he started playin’ ball a long time ago. Back in North Carolina, that’s where he’s from. His daddy, Charles, he taught him, I reckon. Just like my grandpa taught me how to milk a cow. You gotta learn from someone, right?
And then, Chris, he got drafted into the NBA. That’s the big leagues, ya know? He was real young, but he was good. Folks called him the Rookie of the Year. That means he was the best new player, I think. He was tellin’ them older players what to do, even though he was just a youngster. That’s what they call a leader.
Playing with His Son? Maybe Not.
I also heard somethin’ funny ’bout Chris. He’s got a son, Chris Jr., and folks were wonderin’ if they’d ever play basketball together in the NBA. Like a father-son team, ya know? But Chris, he said he don’t think he’ll play that long. He’s gettin’ up there in age, I guess. We all do, eventually. Time flies, don’t it? Just yesterday I was a young gal, runnin’ through the fields. Now look at me, all old and gray.
Chris Paul brother is C.J. Paul. So What About C.J.?
So, back to C.J. He’s part of this whole story, even if he ain’t the one dribblin’ the ball on TV. He’s Chris’s brother, and that’s important. Family’s always important. They was born on May 6, 1985 in Lewisville, North Carolina. That’s what matters. And that Charles guy is their daddy. Robin is their mama. He was selected fourth overall by the New Orleans Hornets. And Chris got that Rookie of the Year award. They even got a family I heard of, the whole crew, Jada, Chris, Camryn, Charles and Robin. All the Pauls, a big ol’ bunch.
So, there ya have it. That’s all I know ’bout Chris Paul and his brother C.J. It ain’t much, maybe, but it’s the truth, as far as I can tell. And remember what I said, family’s important. Don’t you ever forget that.
