Alright, let’s gab a bit about this fella, George Kambosos Jr. I heard some folks talkin’ about him, sayin’ he’s a big deal in that boxin’ world. They call him “The Emperor,” sounds fancy, don’t it? But what I’m really interested in is how much dough this fella’s got. You know, his net worth, like them city folks say.
Well, from what I gather, this George guy ain’t doin’ too bad for himself. They say he’s got around $5 million to his name as of this year, 2024. That’s a whole lotta money, more than I’ll ever see in my lifetime, that’s for sure. Now, where’d he get all that cash? Mostly from beatin’ up other fellas in the ring, seems like. They pay him big bucks for them fights, especially them big-time ones.
- Heard tell he got a cool six million dollars just for fightin’ some guy named Maxi Hughes last year. Can you believe that? Six million just for punchin’ someone!
- And that ain’t even his biggest payday. They say he got a whopping ten million dollars fightin’ another fella, Devin Haney. Ten million! That’s enough to buy a whole farm, maybe two!
But it ain’t all sunshine and roses for this George. He done lost some fights too, seems like. Lost to that Haney fella twice, lost his belts and all. Then he went and fought another fella, Vasiliy Lomachenko, and lost that one too. Guess boxin’ ain’t so easy after all.
But even with them losses, George seems to be doin’ alright. He’s got them sponsors, you know, them companies that give him money to wear their stuff or say their name. And he’s got some other business things goin’ on too, I reckon. Smart fella, makin’ money even when he ain’t fightin’.
Now, I also heard George signed some papers with some fellas, Eddie Hearn and DiBella, somethin’ about promotin’ fights. And he’s plannin’ on goin’ up a weight class, fightin’ bigger fellas. Wants to be a champion in two different weights, they say. Ambitious, ain’t he? Gotta admire that, even if I don’t understand all this boxin’ stuff.
So, yeah, George Kambosos Jr., he’s got a few dollars to his name, that’s for sure. Five million dollars ain’t nothin’ to sneeze at. He made it beatin’ folks up, gettin’ folks to pay him to wear their stuff, and doin’ some other business things. And he’s still plannin’ on fightin’ more, makin’ even more money. Good for him, I say. Hope he don’t spend it all foolishly now, buy somethin’ useful, like good farmland or somethin’.
This whole boxin’ business is somethin’ else. Makes ya wonder how these young fellas get so good at hittin’ each other. But hey, if they’re gettin’ paid that kind of money, maybe it’s worth a few bumps and bruises. George Kambosos Jr. net worth is somethin’ most folks can only dream of. He sure worked hard for it, though, gotta give him that.
Makes me think about how different things are for city folk and us country people. We work hard our whole lives, scratchin’ out a livin’ from the land, and we never see a tenth of that kind of money. But then again, maybe we got somethin’ they don’t have, peace and quiet and the satisfaction of doin’ a honest day’s work. Still, five million dollars… that’s a lot of chicken feed.
Anyway, that’s what I know about George Kambosos Jr. and his money. He’s a rich fella, that’s for sure, and he made it all by fightin’ and such. Good for him, I say. Hope he enjoys it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
