He played football too, I guess. Tight end, they call it. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds uncomfortable. He even played for the Lions a while back. Wore number 89. Imagine rememberin’ somethin’ like that.
Then there’s this whole thing about a ring. Apparently, if you win some big football game, you get a ring. Like a weddin’ ring, but bigger and shinier, I guess. Look, here’s what I think. Dan Campbell is coachin’ them Lions, and they’re doin’ alright. Jemele Hill said somethin’ a while back, and people got their knickers in a twist. Big deal. It’s just football, folks! It ain’t the end of the world. There are more important things to worry about, like gettin’ the crops in and makin’ sure the chickens are fed. These folks need to get their priorities straight, that’s what I say.
