Well, let’s gab a bit about this Adley Rutschman fella, you know, the baseball player. Folks keep askin’, “is Adley Rutschman married?” I hear tell he’s a big deal with them Baltimore Orioles, hittin’ balls and catchin’ ’em too.
Now, I ain’t seen no weddin’ ring on that boy in the pictures, but that don’t mean nothin’ these days. These young’uns, they do things different. He’s awful busy, that’s for sure. Heard tell he got himself a good chunk of change playin’ ball, somethin’ like seven hundred thousand dollars, maybe more! That’s a whole lotta money, I tell ya. Enough to keep a wife happy, I reckon. But seein’ as how he just started playin’ in the big leagues not too long ago, maybe in 2022, he might be too busy focussin’ on his career to settle down just yet.
Back in my day, we got hitched young and started a family. But these fellas, they got their careers and whatnot. This Adley, he went to some fancy school out in Oregon, Sherwood High School, I think they called it. Then he went on to college, Oregon State University. Played baseball there too, smart boy, I guess. He got picked by the Seattle Mariners first, but he didn’t sign with them. Ended up with the Orioles, and now he’s a star, or so they say.

His grandpappy, Ad Rutschman, was a big shot too, a coach or somethin’. Football and baseball, both! Seems like good genes run in that family. They say he’s in some Hall of Fame, fancy that! So maybe Adley’s got that same drive, you know? Focused on the game, not on findin’ a wife.
They talk about him bein’ a switch-hitter, means he can bat from both sides, I think. Sounds complicated to me. My old man, he just swung from one side, and that was good enough for him! But this Adley fella, he’s gotta be doin’ somethin’ right, ’cause he’s makin’ big bucks. More than a million dollars in his first year, can you believe that? That’s more money than most folks around here see in a lifetime.
But back to the question, is he married? I ain’t heard nothin’ about a wife. The papers, they talk about his baseball all the time, how much money he makes, where he went to school. But no mention of a Mrs. Rutschman. They do say, though, that behind every successful man there’s a strong woman. Maybe she’s just keepin’ a low profile, you know? Or maybe he just ain’t found the right gal yet.
He’s still young, this Adley. Plenty of time to find a wife if he wants one. Maybe he’s just focused on bein’ the best baseball player he can be. Adley Rutschman’s personal life ain’t somethin’ they broadcast all over the TV, like they do with his hittin’ and catchin’. They just focus on his “professional career” and the “Baltimore Orioles”. You know how them reporters are, always chasin’ the big stories, not the quiet ones. So, as far as I can tell, and I keep my ears open, Adley Rutschman is not married. But that could change tomorrow, you never know!
So there you have it, as much as this old woman knows about Adley Rutschman’s marital status. He might get married someday, he might not. But one thing’s for sure, he’s a darn good baseball player, and that’s what folks care about most, I reckon.
